Systematic Kinesiology Explained

How is Systematic Kinesiology Done

Muscle testing

When we test a muscle information is sent to the brain which processes the whole system associated with that particular muscle and sends back a message to tell us if that muscle and its related circuit is at optimal level or if it needs help and support.  We can then find out exactly what it needs and supply the requirements

The client lies down fully dressed and relaxed on a massage table.  The person is usually asked to hold either an arm or leg in a specific position which isolates one specific muscle at a time and the kinesiologist exerts gentle pressure on the limb for a few seconds while the client tries to hold it steady.  If the muscle is working correctly and contracts firmly and steadily the limb will not move under the pressure and the muscle and its controlling circuits are said to be in balance.  If the muscle is not firing correctly the client will be unable to hold the limb against the tester’s pressure and the limb will move slightly this shows that something is out of balance and needs to be fixed.

Imbalances are fixed by the kinesiologist rubbing specific points on the body called Neuro Lymphatic Points, this helps to get the lymph flowing to nourish muscle cells also remove toxins from the area.  We hold certain points on the client’s head called Neuro Vascular points which when held lightly with the fingertips enhance blood supply to the muscle we are working on.  After contacting and rubbing the appropriate points usually for less than a minute the weak muscle is retested and it should now test strong.  Each muscle is also associated with an organ of the body and by working to strengthen a muscle we allow energy to flow freely to that muscle which also help to support the organ involved.

One thing that makes Systematic Kinesiology so powerful is that we can work on the Physical, Mental/Emotional, Chemical and Energy realms of the body all at the same time.

Mental

Thoughts, Emotions, Issues, Problems, Dreams, Aspirations:  We can work with people on emotional and stress issues without them having to reveal what the problem is.  The client just brings the stress to mind and the practitioner holds certain points on the forehead with gentle pressure for a short length of time.  We can also work with people to help them achieve goals both short and long term.

Physical

Bones, Muscles, Tendons, Ligaments:  We can alleviate physical restrictions and pain by holding or massaging specific points on the body to increase blood or lymph flow in certain areas.  We also have some simple yet very effective manual techniques for releasing tension in overworked muscles.

Chemistry

The food and water we consume, the vitamins and minerals we take:  Through muscle testing we can easily and quickly find food sensitivities and intolerances and also check which supplements the body requires at any particular time.

Energy

By contacting and holding specific acupressure points we encourage energy to flow freely through the body.

Fully Integrated System

One of the foundational principles of Systematic Kinesiology is that everything is connected.  Our muscles, organs and glands are connected through the meridian or acupuncture system.  This helps the practitioner to interpret what is going on with the body from a Mental, Chemical, Physical and Energetic perspective.   Practitioner and client work together to uncover what is out of balance therefore clients gain a much greater understanding of how their body works and learn how stress might be affecting them physically.  Systematic Kinesiology is a fully integrated natural healthcare system that offers clients a tailor made solution specific to their needs.  It is a gentle hands-on therapy that empowers clients by helping them to better understand where to make lifestyle changes.

With Systematic Kinesiology we can find out what the body needs and address the client on all the different levels. Sometimes we resolve problems which have been on-going for a long time but more importantly we can prevent potential problems from occurring by picking up and clearing sub-clinical issues before symptoms manifest themselves.  This will enhance a person’s general health and strengthen the immune system so that the body can better withstand the physical, emotional and chemical stressors which are a common feature of modern life.

Systematic Kinesiology is a gentle holistic complimentary treatment.  It helps to balance the body so that it functions optimally.   It should not however be regarded as a replacement for medical opinion or diagnosis.   Anybody with new or unusual symptoms should consult their Doctor before attending for Systematic Kinesiology sessions.
